This week I have been cleaning and polishing ASHANTI in readiness for launching early in April, and when I reached the Macgregor Logo's I was reminded that it would be nice to have new ones.

Some time ago I seem to remember that a member (I can't remember who) was going to get a quantity of the Logo's from Blue Water Yachts and I'm sure I said I would like to order a pair.

Does anyone else remember this or was it just another of my Senior moments ??

A post to update fellow Maccers on recent changes to mine and Nicola's boating life. Over the past year or so on Windermere we have become familiar with a Seawolf 26, Seashell, and were recently offered full ownership of her, which we accepted. We go to the lake a lot and Seashell offers a few luxuries that Mrs Mac lacked. Unfortunately this town aint big enough for two boats, so on Saturday I put the Mrs up for sale and she was snapped up by a chap from Northampton, a previous owner of a C, who has taken posession and becomes her third owner.

For those who visit the American-based Mac sailors forum, you may be interested to hear that the site has had a bit of a re-vamp. I received the email below - you'll probably have got the same thing if you're registered on the site.

It's a good resource for Mac stuff etc. although I personally haven't used it for a long time now. I'm not suggesting you abandon our site of course (!), but it can be a useful additional source of information.
