I'm going to replace the standing rigging including the forestay turnbuckle this winter.

The easy option seems to be to buy the lot from BWYachts but importing from the USA will mean paying duty and VAT and the full amount is going to be around £400. Has anyone used a UK rigger to make up a full set and if so are you pleased with the result and /or the cost?

If so do you have anyone you would recommend?

I expect that most of you will by now have read the article by Chris Harnan in the latest magazine, in which he ponders the reasons for low engagement of members in MOA organised events.

In response to this the committee have put together a questionnaire to try and probe the reasons. "Oh no, not another online questionnaire" I hear you say! But please bear with us.

Has anyone used this flooring which seems to be self adhesive.Not sure if it would present a problem to a future owner if they wanted to remove it.

Calling all members, old and new. My thoughts are turning to the next edition of the MacGregor Sailor and I would very much appreciate some input from one an all. I am especially keen to hear from new members who wish to introduce themselves and their boats - how are you getting on?
