For those Solent sailors who like to visit Bembridge Harbour, and especially the Duver Marina, you may like to know that the quayside facilities are getting a major upgrade for this year.

The cafe & bar porta-cabins have been moved to the other end of the quay, alongside a new, larger pergola and extended seating area complete with 3 new gas barbecues.

A new harbour office and facilities building (not quite finished yet) stands where the cafe, bar and seating area used to be, and will replace the old and tired office and toilet block. We stopped off there today while on a wallk, and it all looks like a great improvement - see pictures.
