Although I did miss the Big Mac, I did get to do a trip that’s been on my mind for a while. Starting from Tollesbury Marina on the Blackwater, I went to the Orwell, then up to Lowestoft, where I escaped the wind for 3 days. Then a long day sailing and mothering to Wells-Next-The-Sea. On to King’s Lynn, then down the Ouse to a marina 5 miles from my home in Great Stukeley.

It was a great trip....challenging at times, but it felt really good to have done by myself.
