I have a 26x and seeking dimensions for a new Genoa that Downer's Sailmakers of Dun Laoighre (Dublin) are making for me. I tried various sites to get a ready made one and if someone there knows if they can be obtained then I would go and get one off the peg instead.
I would appreciate any help and advice,

The factory sails were made by Doyle, who have a base in Southampton - you can find them online. I'm pretty sure they can supply replacements, they should have all the measurements to make one to order.
Whether they would give you the measurements so you could get one made elsewhere I don't know!

We replaced the Doyle sails on Tarka our M26 a few of years ago in 2011 using a local sailmaker on Mersea Island (N&J Mussett) but any decent sailmaker can make you a replacement from your originals. The original Doyle sails aren't very good as they use a relatively cheap material which is heavily filled and doesn't keep its shape very well. The new sails we had made are a significant improvement and I dont think they were any more expensive than the Doyle at £1000 for mainsail and Genoa with new batterns, sailties, bags and UV strip on the Jib. I have the original sail dimensions if you need them as the dimension drawings were downloadable from the original Macgregor web site (drawings dated 2005).
I got several quotes but settled for the local firm that had a good reputation in our area. Hope this helps.
