November Newsletter

Thanks to all concerned for another great issue of the newsletter.
Special thanks to new members Andrew and Will for taking the time to document their learning experiences.
I think I wrote in a recent Commodore's Log about the universal appeal of the Mac which seems to be borne out time and time again by stories of folk being able to fulfil dreams and find new challenges.
The message has to be - keep it going - enjoy - and keep us posted!

Re: November Newsletter

Thanx Mike, the Mac has been a fantastic addition to the family,i have always wanted to sail the west coast of scotland as i have done a few kayaking trips there. This year has been a big learning curve,we were caught out in some large swells and big winds and had some very nice days as well, there has been so much to learn and with the boat being 300 miles away i have had to get more organised.Dennis Bolt has been a very big help and is now a good freind who i found through the club.
I dont feel experienced enough to organise a rally yet,but hope that there will be some Mac owners who want to come up for a sail this year. The firth of clyde is a fab place to explore, although we havnt got further than the Burnt islands on the kyles of Bute.I hope the weather is a bit kinder this year so we can get out to Arran and possibly through the crinan canal and up to Oban.
best wishes Will
