Lidl are selling a rectangular parasol that is the same size as a 26X cockpit cost £20
Unfortunately the tube is not the same size as the mast support so I have fitted to brackets to the pedestal
Probably no good if you spend you time at sea but perfect for lochs and lakes

Hi Alan i did exactly the same but just used straps,wouldnt mind seeing a photo of your brackets?
