Asking my local sail maker what budget for replacement rather than repair he will not commit without looking at the Sails. Any idea of cost for new sails and possibly somewhere that have the sizes on record to manufacture.

Repair or new
When I had my main repaired a couple of years ago, Quay Sails in Poole quote £715 for a new sail but it has probably gone up since then. I declined and have been sticking patches on it ever since. I am tempted by the sails from BWYachts because they seems reasonable and are made specifically for these boats so there should be no need to send measurements but the import duty has put me off so far. Maybe we'll get a free trade deal with the US which will make it cheaper......
I have just had a new UV strip and cleats on my jib which was done by Hamble Sail Repairs - 07485 140168 which cost £203.00 which I thought was reasonable.
