A post to update fellow Maccers on recent changes to mine and Nicola's boating life. Over the past year or so on Windermere we have become familiar with a Seawolf 26, Seashell, and were recently offered full ownership of her, which we accepted. We go to the lake a lot and Seashell offers a few luxuries that Mrs Mac lacked. Unfortunately this town aint big enough for two boats, so on Saturday I put the Mrs up for sale and she was snapped up by a chap from Northampton, a previous owner of a C, who has taken posession and becomes her third owner. I owned Mrs Mac for 8 plus years and she has been at the centre of my leisure life. There have been many experiences on Windermere and on Mac and non-Mac events to Scotland, Ireland, Cornwall and, memorably, to the Isle of Man. Priceless. I do wish to maintain my MOA membership and, I believe, when my Commodore-ship finishes, am taking on the role of Editor - which will be another non-sailing learning curve. We haven't given up on trailer sailing and we think that one day we might follow the example of one or two other members and downsize to a 19, although 'hen's teeth' springs to mind. I hope all is well with everyone and I hope to be at the AGM in April, all things being equal.

Good Luck, Quentin.
Sowenna hasn't been snapped up yet but there are a few nibbles.
Hope to see you at the AGM, if not might you be coming to Chichester to crew?

Hi Quentin,
When I saw the heading I thought it was a very strange way to announce your divorce |
Thank goodness its only a trial separation - I'm sure Nicola will make sure of that.
Hope you can tear yourself away from your new mistress to make the AGM - a few beers await !!
Best Regards,
John
