I am going sailing tomorrow on Poppy on Windermere but am busy on Saturday with family otherwise I would have liked to have joined in and met you. I have a visit to the Kirkstone Pass Inn (LA22 9LQ) arranged for this Saturday (half eleven). I am there collecting some railway sleepers that I now need here on the Machars so that I can extend the width of my bridge and get the Mac in and out of my drive across a stream at the front of the house. I too can’t wait for next season and hope there will be some events here in the North, there is certainly enough water! Getting some gatherings organised with lots of time to spare has to be less hassle I agree.
It would be good to meet you if you can get up to the Lakes. My daughter will make us a nice cup of tea for the trouble ;)
