We've slept around all over the boat, but portside aft is our best yet. Mostly as if we sleep on the stbd table affair we have too much of a list for a comfy night.. and the vee is too sort for me. It's a bit of a head scratcher for me to figure out boat balance...
As for a tender.. after messing round with an avon redcrest, we went for a £22 SHARK BOAT from a beach shop. We moor so close to the shore, if not on it that it has yet to be problematic. And as for stowing away and handling? Doddle. We got a 12v pump too.. talk about lazy but the damn thing is great. couple of pumps with the footpump to finish it off and we're away. (often with my waterproof legs on tho.. even in a proper tender I've too often got my bum soggy)
