Wakeboarding on a Mac 26

Just wondering if anyone has tried or has knowledge of wakeboarding from a Mac 26. I dont mean wakeboarding from the end of a 60 foot rope like skiing but more nearer the boat where you let the rope go when upright and ride the wave created. A bit like surfing but always staying behind the boat, till you fall over!

Not tried this but sounds

Not tried this but sounds like a laugh...possibly mainly for others! Would need to take care the dropped tow line doesn't foul the boat prop and also no risk of surfing into the still moving propeller. It wouldn't be my choice.

It is fun, if your young. I'm

It is fun, if your young. I'm not but I took my grandson this week and it really was good fun. I think it is an attachment you secure on the stern which creates the wave that the boarders ride on. I have a video which the picture is taken from. If I can manage to pist full video I will but me and technology are not compatible. Regards the tow line it is usually secured about 8 feet above the cockpit floor to get the height to lift the boarder but getting it snagged is a resl pissibility
