Starbright do a deck cleaner

Starbright do a deck cleaner as well which works well and gets rid of most stains unless they are rust which needs a special cleaner. I am at a loss as to why you have these spots unless rain had picked up ferrous dust from Africa and dropped it on you.

I find Bar Tenders Friend. It's powder in a bottle and you put in on the area and scrub with stiff brush...rust and leaf stain comes off a treat.

You can buy the proprietary products but a much cheaper method is to buy some Oxalic acid.

it is an organic acid that is a white powder and mix at about 50 gram/ liter with warm water.

it is great for getting the black marks out of teak but as a mild acid will remove any ferrous staining.

wash your hands though as it is poisonous.

I also use oxalic acid. A successful additional this year was some gravy thickener which stopped it running around, also handy for the orange stains above the waterline should you suffer. I believe people add wallpaper paste for the same reason.

I have used it to shift rust stains from fabric which was very pleasing.

Good stuff used sensibly
