Outboard engine link to steering

Hi All

This is my first post and I'm a new member. I'm hoping to get my 26X out in the next few weeks, but I don't have a connection linkage bar from the rear rudder steering to my outboard. Would someone be able to point me in the direction of where I might find one in the UK please? Many thanks Andy

Hello Andy,

Hello Andy,

You won't get any original macgregor parts in this country. BWY in America are the only supplier of original spec. Equipment as far as I know. Your best option would be an outboard control arm from ebay and a length of s/s threaded bar. Some sort of eyebolt or rose joint on the end to connect to the rudder control pin and you are sorted. BWY do make a quick release arm but it is stupidly expensive with the import tax.

Suggest you have a look on the site and fabricate something yourself.

Hope this helps a bit. Andy.

Hi Andy, if it's the bar from

Hi Andy, if it's the bar from the outboard that connects to the 32mm steering pipe then I have one that you can have.
