Ive just boughmanufacture" a 26c and am in the process of sorting, cleaning and getting things ship shape! She has been stored on trailer for 2 years so there is ample growth of algae outside and black mould inside. Lots of work and scrubbing.
I've just started looking at boat insurance quotes (any good recommendations, welcome) but it seems that age of boat is needed, I don't know but have HIN which is MACW 2922 D 191
Can anyone help with age/date of manufacture with that info

Congrats on your purchase!
The last 2 digits are the year of manufacture, so yours is 1991. The letter D is the month, which means November (it starts with A for August - no idea why).
A site which happens to have loads of stats for Macs, including this stuff, is www.wadler.org.
I'm a member of the RYA and use the insurance provided by Bishop Skinner specifically for members. It's a good policy, and RYA membership is only £43 pa, which I think is good value anyway.
