THANKS FOR THE RESPONSE
Have launched several times on slip way at top of beach only at high tide, it would be easier if we could
launch and recover on beach at any state of tide.
We would be able to launch and recover in less water.
I would always empty ballast tank first.

Mod 2
The spare wheel mounted on bearing by the jockey wheel, so when launching and recovering with a rope
the spare wheel runs on slip way

Interesting. Do you envisage mounting the spare wheel permanently in a vertical position (and presumably centrally in the A-frame so it doesn't "steer")? Or would it be swapped from a horizontal mounting when you need it?
