Has anyone installed a Propex HS2000 marine heater on a 26M?

I am just about to install a Propex HS2000 (Marine version) Heater on Blue Babe (26m). I'd love to here from any other members with one already fitted... Otherwise I'll keep the site posted with my progress.

Thanks, Daryl

No Daryl but Bjorn has fitted a Propex heated successfully on his X.
I would like to fi same on my M so would be interested to hear how you get on.
Have you thought of where to house the gas bottle. I bought last year and have modified a gas bottle storage locker from Force 4 that I hope to fit someday into the rear starboard side floatation bulkhead ( replacing the foam of -course !). I plan to use it either for gas bottle or wet storage.

Roly,

Yes, the gas locker seems to be a bit tricky. I've read the Boat Safety Scheme guidelines for LPG installations on boats. It seems that it's okay to use an open locker in the cockpit if the cockpit is self draining, which ours is. So I'm looking at using the locker opposite the fuel tank. The other issue is limited height, so an external locker on the stern may be the best way forward... I've already added a 100w solar panel, so I was hoping not to have even more complexity at the stern. If you don't mind limited gas storage then the Campingaz cylinders should fit up to the 907. It's a bit tight with the 907 regulator however. When I say tight, I may be saying it doesn't fit, but I intend to find out ;)

I've now tried a Campingaz 907 with regulator and it fits!! (Please excuse the dirty state of my locker... I can see I have cleaning to do)
