I know there are a few threads about battery power but I'm just wondering where Mac 26X owners locate their extra batteries and why.
I have a Mercury 50hp with 18amp alti and I need (due to long stays ) to store and charge two 110 amp batteries and am keen to hear where poeple have located theirs and how they get the run the charge (and what size) cables to recharge them.
My first thoughts are use a split diode and run a cable under the seat to the left of the Galley and locate them there, any thoughts ?

Good dead space under the 'chiller'.. enough for three biggies.
Get welder cable for joining things up, and solder the ends with plumbers solder. I picked up a load of cable from a scrapyard... cheap as chips!
