I can't recall the brand it I bought one from force 4 a few years ago and it's still working fine although the regargable battery probably needs replacing....However I don't normally want it running at night . Fan is still v quiet. It can be closed fully if required and fan van be reversed if needed. I installed mine through the perspex window that is above the heads on my M. I used a circular cutter that I bought from toolfix and would be happy to share with anyone who'd like it. I bedded it down with black siccaflex. The hardest thing is putting in the bolts single handed. Really needs 2 people. One inside one outside.
Mine has recently stopped working, so another winter project. Am wondering if it is worth replacing with solar or wind power. It was installed in November 2012 so has lasted quite well. Most important thing for me is to ensure the new one has the same diameter as the old one.
Yet another one of my winter projects
What solar vents do people recommend ?
