Viewing dagger board
can the dagger board be lowered a little whilst the boat is on the trailer to view for damage to the bottom of the board? Is there sufficient room to grovel under the trailer (2axle) to see anything of the board and hull structure?
Hi Keith,
From memory its difficult to see more than the first few inches (should that be centimetres?) of the board when the boats on the trailer. The only way to really see the dagger board is to take it out when the mast is down as any damage to the base may also have created damage to the board where it enters the centre board case further up.
