Anyone know how the original 26X bow roller fixes, are bolts accessible via the forward buoyancy compartment? I'd rather not unpack all the bits of polystyrene to find I can't get to them.
Also anyone got any inspired alternatives to a conventional bow roller?
Thanks
Dave.

Hi Dave on my 26 x the bow roller is fixed by 3 nuts and bolts-the nuts being right up the front of the boat internally.
Actually only two bolts were fitted ( I guess fitting the third bolt was too awkward as there is not much room to do it.) Hope this helps.p.s. you get a bit more fiddle room if you remove the bedding. Regards David Phillips WHIMBREL/SANDPIPER.
