The following shows tide planning software http://www.belfieldsoftware.co.uk/pricing.htm buying one copy is £10.99 but if we buy 5 as an association it's cheaper
are there 4 other people who are considering buying some tide planning software and want to go for a bulk deal
this was mentioned at the AGM

Thanks, Andy. Am posting this reply before looking at the website but it sounds good and I'd be potentially interested. Will now look at the website!

The Iphone App on tide planning for 2010/11 costs £4.99 and is superb. World-wide cover including secondary ports with diagrams showing rate of rise and fall at 5 minute intervals - unbelievable saving of tedious calculations on RYA Navigation Courses!
All very well if you're one of those trendy types with an iphone!! :D
I'm still on a 3rd gen original ipod!
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice; In practice, there is.
OK, so I'm just catching up with what's going on in the world of miniature communications.
Just got the hang of music and now I see I can buy an Apple app with Navionics charts for the whole of UK and Holland for £14.99!
The reviews say that it has lots of tide data as well.
I'm also interested in Bill's comments regarding world wide coverage of tide data - how do I find that on Apple's website?
Mike
start with itunes. istore loves selling stuff. So you got an iphone too? Starting to feel really left out!

Mike, It's called "Marine Tides Planner 10" and you will find it by searching in the Iphone App Store. I've just found the Navionics chat you mention and it looks interesting. Let me know if and when you buy it whether you think it's good value.
Just recently used the Navionics app iPad (along with traditional charts of course) for a recent night sail from Chichester to Estbourne.
It is expensive (over £40), but worked brilliantly and is much cheaper than a dedicated chartplotter. There is a cheaper iPhone version.
