In case there was anyone hoping to come on this great event but are unable to bring your boat please bear in mind that I would be happy to have company on my boat , so please just ask !
Hi All, it looks like a few of us maybe wobbling about the Solent 5th to the 10th September.
I am yet to research tides etc but currently thinking something like Gosport for Sunday, Beaulieu Monday, Newtown Creek/Yarmouth Tuesday -maybe Wootten Creek on Wednesday.
My plan of action in case any boats want to join in... From this Saturday 5th- Hamble to
Bembridge Sat night, Hasler Sunday night. Leave 9.00 ish for Bucklers Hard Monday night (to carry last of the tide) - no rush to get in if it is a nice sailing day.
Tuesday weather dependent maybe head out past Needles/ anchor Alum Bay back to Newtown Creek for night- option on Yarmouth if weather bad.
Wednesday - not sure yet, play it by ear.
