26M replacement daggerboards

This is a subsection that collates the various information we have about making replacement daggerboards for the 26M.

We have a mould for building new boards that was constructed by former member Mike Clarke, who then kindly donated it to the Association. It is kept by a member, being whoever is in the best position to look after it at any time. Recently this has been Duncan Cairney in Glasgow, and he knows a local fabricator who has made a number of boards using the mould. At times we may have a ready-made one to sell, if so it will be on the Stuff to Buy page.

If you wish to make one yourself, or know a fabricator you'd like to use, you can make arrangements to get the mould transported to where you need it. Please note that all such arrangements are at your expense, we can't subsidise the making of parts for Macs.
