The ½ BSP input union attached to the chassis by an aluminium bracket (made from a piece of scrap angle).
The hole in the bracket was drilled and filed just large enough that the union would cut its own thread when screwed in with a wrench. The BSP thread is tapered, so the steel union easily cuts into the aluminium.
