Richard Kerswell Sailing Pegasus Mac26M around Britain.

I am not sure if other members have seen Richard. He is sailing his Mac26M around Britain, he is raising money for charity whilst enjoying a great adventure.

You can follow his exploits on Facebook

https://www.facebook.com/groups/Pegasuses.places/?ref=share

I have thoroughly enjoyed Richard's progress, he left Penzance 24th June, and has now made Belfast and is heading on to Glasgow.

I am not sure that Richard is a member on here but I am sure his adventure will interest a few 😃

Thanks for this link John. It is an inspiring voyage and for great causes - and in Richard, Roly has a challenger for his position as MacLaureate!

If you sail into Wells

If you sail into Wells Norfolk I will try and visit. It's a nice town. The port authority have web cams and a navigational video.

safe trip David Phillips.

P. S DONT enter Wells in northerly wind.

To answer John's question in

To answer John's question in the post at the top of this thread, Richard IS an MOA member and the MOA would like to support his venture in any way it can.

Non-facebook users can now access his fundraising page by clicking on the link below:

We will endeavour to update his progress on this thread and would welcome more sightings. His voyage so far can be seen below. It is already out of date as I think he was heading to Largs or even Glasgow yesterday. It will be interesting to see what route he takes.

Richard's words: This year it

Richard's words: This year it is my intention to sail my peggy ( pegasus) around Britain i will not be visiting Eire as unfortunatly the complications are too great. I would like to use this opportunity to raise money for third world countries corvid jabs as it will return something to them for my childhood. Also until the world is immunised this mad pandemic will dog us all. so i would urge all to be genereous and give the world a JAB.
